okay but like…. matt having depression is so important like… he’s a superhero, he has tons of friends (including a best friend that has been with him for years), he has an awesome girlfriend that cares about him so much, he’s had a pretty great job as a lawyer (granted, he was just disbarred in new york but he’s still had some great times). in so many ways, matt has a lot of wonderful things but… he’s still depressed. he fights it. he fights it harder than anything else, but it’s one foe he can’t completely beat and just…… it’s so important to show to that depression can be so deep and can affect you so completely no matter who you are no matter what good you have and sometimes no matter how much you fight back.
